Ch. 53 Ep. 4: Just Scenery One Day
The Odaiba Rainbow Carnival has begun! A·ZU·NA Land opens in Ariake Garden!
Mari
Hello!
Player
Mari! Everyone, come in!
Nozomi
We came to find out what sort of place this toy box is!
Umi
It really is full of all sorts of fun, isn't it?
Riko
There are things like stalls, and even a picture-card show and an obstacle course!
Rin
Yoshiko, I challenge you to the obstacle course!
Yoshiko
No way! And call me Yohane!
Setsuna
Oh no, please do try it out!
Setsuna
I thought the entire thing out from the planning stage, so it's definitely worth taking on!
Setsuna
Not only that, you can even get prizes depending on your clear time!
Nozomi
Ohh, that sounds like fun. Maybe I should give it a try♪
Mari
Me too! Let's all try it out together!
Riko
Yeah, I want all of us to get a prize.
Riko
By the way, when does the picture-card show start? I'm really looking forward to that.
Shizuku
It's on every hour from the half-hour mark.
Yoshiko
Hey, what's the deal with the show's title…?
Shizuku
Huh?
Yoshiko
“The Boot-Wearing, Triangle-Playing, Ever-Shouting Three Little Cats”
Shizuku
*Chuckle* Have we got you interested?
Yoshiko
I am nonplussed.
Rin
Oh, look! They've got target-shooting over there too!
Ayumu
Oh, that. Yeah, it's technically target-shooting, but what they're using is a bit different than usual.
Rin
What do you mean by that?
Ayumu
It's target-shooting using darts.
Rin
Really?! That's so cool!
Rin
So then, is there anything special about the super ball-scooping or die cutting games?
Ayumu
That's something you'll have to find out for yourself… Wait, what?
Ayumu
Hey, aren't those kids over there…
Player
Oh! Those are the kids from the place where Shioriko's volunteering. So they came too.
Mari
Their guardians must be busy with so many kids to look after.
Nozomi
Why don't we just go and play with them ourselves?
Shizuku
Let's all help out.
[Fade in/out.]
Yoshiko
I-I'm beat…! The more kids there are, the more power they take, I guess…!
Umi
Surely this is the best time to use your fallen angel power?
Yoshiko
It's not fallen angel power, it's magic!
Nozomi
*Chuckle* See? You've still got energy left in you.
Rin
Want to do the obstacle course one more time?
Riko
Rin, Yoshiko's totally exhausted…
Yoshiko
I told you, my name's Yohane! And I'm not exhausted!
Yoshiko
Though Yohane is a creature of the night… I cannot say she does well with the sun.
Yoshiko
Thus! She shall cloak this park in darkness using her magical energy…
Mari
Hey, look. Ayumu's super popular with the kids.
Yoshiko
Listen to me!
Mari
We are. You can't go cloaking the place in darkness when everyone's having so much fun playing together.
Yoshiko
I-I guess you have a point…
Yoshiko
It really is nice here… *sigh*…
Yoshiko
They sort of all look like they're Ayumu's own kids.
Nozomi
Maybe Ayumu will just take them and start raising them as her own.
Riko
*Chuckle* I can definitely imagine it. Seeing Ayumu wearing an apron and taking her children shopping with her…
Umi
I'm sure she'd be a really kind mother.
Mari
Oh, are the kids going off somewhere else? They're waving their hands. Bye bye!
Rin
Let's play again some time!
[Fade in/out.]
Ayumu
Those kids were all so full of energy!
Setsuna
We got a lot of energy from them as well!
Shizuku
Their reactions to the picture-card show were amazing. I got totally into it before I even knew it.
Mari
Yeah, there was some good cheering coming from over there.
Umi
I never really thought of picture-card shows as being a festival type of thing, but I'd love to try one at the next Daikoku Festival.
Riko
I'd like to try one at the Uchiura Summer Festival too.
Yoshiko
Yeah. We have to keep on bringing in new ideas too!
Shizuku
I wasn't actually expecting to get all this praise…
Ayumu
After we saw everyone in ÎĽ's and Aquors making such strong connections with their local areas, I felt like I wanted to make this festival a reality.
Ayumu
Right now it's a new festival that feels just right for Odaiba, but I hope one day it will become a standard event, almost like part of the scenery…
Setsuna
I really hope it gets a strong connection with the local area into the future!
