Today we had an English conversation in a specific situation. The International Exchange student played a store attendant, and the Experience Program student was a customer.

So she was able to get by just by pointing at things…

But you would've been out of luck if you were looking for something specific. So you still need to use actual words.

In a situation like that I'd just depend on Shizuko! Since she's so fluent and all!

Yeah. I'd like to be able to read books in their original language one day.

There's lots of things I've read translated into Japanese, but I think there's things you can only understand and feel by reading them in the original language.

So I've got to level up my language skills much, much more.

I also want to learn about the cultures and values of all sorts of different countries.

I want to incorporate all of them into myself and put them to use in my performances.

That way I'll really be able to dig deep into my roles and performing will become even more fun.

You really do love performing, don't you?

*Giggle* It's such fun. Every role I play is like getting to live another life. I really love it.

That's why I'm going to study as much as I can for the Nijigasaki International Exchange course. So it'll come in useful one day when I'm performing overseas!
