Okay, so I got myself a little hint after speaking to Ayumu and the Club president.

Ayumu said that she's able to give her very best because the president cheers her on.

The Club president said she draws in all the feelings that school idols convey, and then responds with her own feelings through her cheers.

I had no idea what they were talking about at the beginning, but now I finally get it!

The Club president—no, everyone in the audience… They're not just watching my performance.

They've been telling me how much fun they're having!

Ai, Karin, Shioriko, I get it now. This is what it means to be a school idol. This is what everyone in the Club has been holding dear to them.

I've never actually been aware of it, but hearing you say that makes me think you might be right.

I try not to overthink things, but I do always feel like I'm connected to everyone who cheers me on.
