Ayumu Ep. 25: Something's Missing?
With Rina's advice, Ayumu was able to get to grips with the mood of her song, allowing both of you to figure out a melody together. She writes the lyrics based on that melody, but it seems to be missing something.

Hi. So, I figured out the lyrics. Would you mind checking them?

Ayumu
*Giggle* It was easy thanks to that wonderful melody you made.

Maybe you could add in some more about the emotions of the characters or include a bit more about them.

What do you mean?

Well, it's just my own opinion, so it's not absolutely necessary or anything.
Player
But I think it might be better if you conveyed the main character's… Well, it's not quite egotism, but her sheer determination to follow through on her own selfishness.
Player
In the movie, maybe it was fate that Earth would get taken over by Mars, but the main character was determined to fight against it. That's how the story goes, right?
Ayumu
Yeah. She had a line about altering history and everything.
Player
And then it wasn't really the Martians that changed her fate. It was because of all those instances when she traveled through time, right?
Ayumu
Yes. It shocked her so much that her spirit was actually crushed once.
Player
But she never gave up.
Ayumu
You're right. She said stuff like, “I can't make everything right, I'm no hero. I just want to change my own destiny.”
Player
She even said that she realized she was being selfish, right? How about trying to express that in the lyrics?
Player
What was the line again? “What's so wrong with putting everything on the line for myself?”
Player
That was really selfish, but it made me love her as a character.
Ayumu
Yeah. That line summed up her feelings perfectly.
