Yes. A girl who believes that her soulmate is a person she'd only ever met once a long time ago and whose name she didn't know.

It was absolutely heartbreaking watching the curtain fall, knowing that they weren't reunited…

It was so emotional that I'm still reeling from it. It was honestly such a great performance.

I tried to flesh out my specific image of them so that I could express those subtle shifts in emotion.

What were you imagining?

Like, what kind of person was this soulmate that she'd been searching for?

Of course, there's no doubt that they must have been a wonderful person. But that wasn't the only thing about them…

My character was keeping something near and dear in her heart, something her soulmate said that had been twinkling within her ever since.

I'm sure they must've been someone like you…

I-I mean, nothing!

Shizuku, your face has gone bright red. Are you okay?

I-I'm fine…

I think I see what you meant, though. If you were imagining that her soulmate was like that, you couldn't help but wish for their reunion.

If the two of them were able to meet again, what do you think they'd say to each other?

“I've been looking for you all this time.”
