Hanamaru, how was your hike with Umi?

It was so much fun, zura! The air was so pure and the views were breathtaking. Kanata even made lunch for all of us and it was super delicious!

Aww, that's nice! The hike was Umi's idea, wasn't it? I was a little worried she'd take you all on the most punishing course imaginable in the name of training.

*Laugh* It wasn't like that at all. The whole trail was paved. The incline got a little steep at some places, but I walked it with no problem, and I'm a beginner, zura.

Although, we also had a big adventure when a stray cat jumped out of a bush. We wound up way off the path and then we did some birdwatching. It was eventful.

Oh, and Yoshiko found a beautiful flower field!

Yeah! It was like a blanket of flowers. It was the only clearing we found, but we could see the mountains in the distance from there. The view was breathtaking, zura!

The green mountains, the colorful flowers… It was like something you only see in picture books, zura.

Yoshiko said mountains are part of the spirit world. And I have to say, the sights we saw had a beauty I can only say was otherworldly, zura.

Wow, that sounds really cool. Who knew places like that really existed?

I'm not even done! The lunches Kanata made for us were scrumptious. So much so, they almost brought tears to my eyes, zura!

*Laugh* You're lucky you got to see all those beautiful sights. I totally would've gone if I hadn't had plans already.

Yeah, that was a shame, zura. Umi said she wanted to start doing group hikes regularly, but no one's committed yet.

That sounds like something she'd want to do. Well, whenever you all schedule the next hike, let me know. I won't miss out next time!

Aww. Well, I guess we can't go if you don't know where it is. Hey, maybe it was just an illusion! Your adventure sounding more and more like some kind of fairy tale!

Yeah. I mean, if we search “hiking” and “flower field,” I'm sure it'll come back with something. We don't necessarily have to go hiking, either.

We can just bring lunch and go look at some pretty flowers together.
