Now that I think about it, have we ever been involved in a student council election?

My impression of it is that there's a candidate, and then it usually sorts itself out through some process to determine if they're credible.

That's what it was like for you as well, right, Setsu? There wasn't any sort of independent vote or anything, was there?

I believe so. I was the only candidate up for election, so I gave my credence speech and then it was decided with a vote of confidence.

I looked it up online with Rina, and apparently, there's a lot of campaigning when there are multiple candidates. Mifune's doing that by putting up posters and stuff, right?

I'm curious as to what kind of campaigning she's doing.

Hee hee! Okay, I'll tell you about what I found out!

First up is the Tennis Club. She apparently recommended a member playing singles to switch to doubles.

She said that she didn't have the skills for singles but would be useful in doubles because she has a good net game.

There was also a Softball Club member who was delighted by all the college pamphlets Shioriko brought her to show her what schools she could go to with her skills.

I asked around at the Basketball Club, and she did something similar.

She apparently told a starting-lineup member that she and her watchful eyes were better suited for team manager and looking after the whole team.

Yeesh, I'd go nighty-night out of shock if she said something so forward like that to me.

Wouldn't the people being told to do something else be upset as well?

That's actually not the case.

She's right! Obviously, they protest at the beginning, but then they realize it's not such a bad idea after giving her recommendation a try.

Mmhmm. Some girls have seen an improvement in their performance.

Mifune really is good at determining what people are suited or not suited to.

She apparently borrowed a book from the library to give to a member of the Theater Club to recommend breathing techniques to do before voice training.

And she also advised the Cooking Club to collaborate with the Science Club to research seasonings.

It was apparently a good suggestion since both clubs had just barely enough club members.

She's…quite the formidable opponent.

I hate to admit it, but she is. She seems overbearing but then apparently launches into a convincing, structured spiel about how she wants people to be.

I suppose you would be captivated if someone told you to focus on your strengths and then instilled you with their faith in your improvement and growth.

She's a master at encouraging people.

Mifune is incredible. Her drive to act is incredible. She's looked around the whole school, researched, and spoke to the students. I've not been able to do that.
