Ch. 47 Ep. 9: The Pamphlet's Shaping Up
The club members have been looking for good things to write about Nijigasaki over the past few days and have been reminded how wonderful a place it is. They now think they can make a pamphlet that will make people want to enroll.
Player
You found so many great and uniquely Nijigasaki things to share, huh.
Setsuna
It really helps you see all over again just how diverse our school is.
Kasumi
I've come to love Nijigasaki more than ever.
Mia
Doesn't this place require a pretty high level of academic ability? How'd you even get into the school, Kasumi?
Kasumi
I studied really, really, reeeaally hard for the entrance exam, that's how! You shouldn't underestimate me when I'm serious!
Rina
If you were serious all the time, you wouldn't have to be so scared of getting failing grades.
Shizuku
You can say that again.
Kasumi
Lay off me!
Lanzhu
There's something I want to ask you, Kasumi.
Kasumi
What is it?
Lanzhu
How do you get failing grades?
Kasumi
What?! Please say something, Karin!
Karin
Please keep me out of it.
Mia
I wanna know too!
Kasumi
Is it all right if I cry now, Karin?
Karin
I might just join you.
Kanata
Okay, okay. That's enough with the sad stories already!
Kasumi
Sad? Kanata called me sad! Ahhh, please comfort me, Prez!
Player
O-Okay. I know you're always doing your best, Kasumi!
Kasumi
That's right! I'm doing my best too! I knew you understood me better than anyone else!
Ayumu
Um, okay then… Anyway… Weren't we talking about all the good Nijigasaki stuff we found?
Ai
Yes, we were. I was about to lose track of the topic, but that is precisely what we were talking about!
Ai
Ahhh, we really did a great job, huh! Right, Shio-ti?!
Shioriko
Yes indeed. Thanks to all of you, this pamphlet is bound to turn out perfect.
Shioriko
Thank you so very much.
Emma
Don't thank us yet. Gathering the info is just the first step. The real work starts now, right?
Setsuna
That's right. Let's create a pamphlet that will make the people who are considering coming here want to enroll.
Rina
I hope we can make some really interesting club intro pages.
Mia
With so many different clubs and groups, there's bound to be something they'll be interested in.
Setsuna
And there are so many things you can only find at Nijigasaki. We can't leave them out!
Kanata
You're right. We just need people to find a club that makes them want to go to Nijigasaki!
Emma
Yep, yep. I hope there are lots of people who get interested in the School Idol Club!
Kasumi
Make sure you put the School Idol Club at the very top of the page, Shioko!
Shioriko
No. In the interest of fairness, I will divide the clubs into athletic and cultural sections and list them in alphabetical order.
Kasumi
Whaaaaaat?!
Shizuku
Um, I'd like effort put into the cafeteria page too. I asked an international student in my class about it and she said getting a taste of her hometown puts her at ease.
Lanzhu
How about a popularity ranking of the cafeteria meals?!
Ai
Oooh, that sounds fun!
Shioriko
That does sound good. We'll have a meeting soon, so I will bring the idea up then.
[Fade in/out.]
Player
I'm so glad I got into Nijigasaki!
Ayumu
Huh? What's gotten into you?
Player
I think I said this already, but before coming here, I never thought I would have such a fulfilling high school experience.
Player
I was looking forward to it, of course. It's a dream come true to be able to attend the music course of my dreams, after all.
Ayumu
You did always say that you wanted to study music, that's for sure.
Player
Yeah. I remember looking up high schools with music departments and thinking Nijigasaki was the only one for me.
Ayumu
I also remember when you first told me about Nijigasaki.
Ayumu
And how nervous you were when you told your parents about it.
Player
Oh yeah, I was super tense back then. I thought they might ask me to enroll in the general curriculum.
Ayumu
But you convinced them, didn't ya!
Player
*Laugh* I think that was just my parents giving in to me.
Player
But that might've been the first time I ever asked them for something so passionately. I really laid it on thick when I said I wanted to study music no matter what.
Player
Ah…
Ayumu
Hm?
Player
I might've forgotten to consider how they felt…
