What's a hackathon?

It's an event where you split up into teams and have to come up with an idea for a program and code it within a set time limit.

I've always been interested in making games, but I used to think it was impossible to actually pull off.

But working with people from other clubs to make our promo video recently really motivated me. I'd like to give it a shot.

I've never entered a game-making event before, but I do want to try new things, so I'm going to set this challenge for myself.
