A Heartfelt Wedding Ep. 1
Mia
Rare to get a handwritten letter these days…
Mia
Wait, this is…
[Fade in/out.]
Mia
Hey, is it okay if I ask you guys something?
Ayumu
Of course! You can ask us anything.
Mia
What exactly is a wedding to all of you?
Ayumu
A w-wedding?! Huh?! W-Well…
Ayumu
I imagine my own wedding will be a special time spent with the person I love, and a memory that I'll cherish forever.
Mia
That'd be it, huh.
Chika
Why're you asking about weddings out of the blue?
Mia
Well, someone I owe a lot to is getting married.
Mia
She lives in Japan and she's having a cruise wedding. She also sent me an invite.
You
Wow! Congratulations! So she's getting married at sea, huh? Nice!
Rin
Lucky you, getting invited to such a cool wedding!
Maki
You don't seem too enthused about it, though?
Mia
Well, it seems the person who invited me—the bride—has found out that I'm a school idol now…
Mia
And she's asked me if I'd sing at the reception.
Chika
Really?! That's awesome, Mia!
Mia
I know, but it's a lot of pressure! A wedding is a really important event, right? I'm not sure if I'm good enough to be put in that spot…
Maki
Well, if you asked Rina to sing at an important event of yours, and she wasn't sure if she was good enough, what would you do?
Mia
I'd tell her there was nothing to worry about! That I'd asked her because I love her and I love her singing!
Maki
Well, I'm sure the person that invited you feels the same way about you.
Chika
Yeah. Her wedding must be really important to her, right?
Chika
So she probably wants someone who's important to her to sing there. That's why she invited you.
You
That's right, Mia! Believe in yourself!
Rin
Yeah! Plus, you're an amazing singer!
Ayumu
What they said! Well, Mia? What do you think?
Mia
Thanks, everyone…! I'm going to sing my heart out for her!
Mia
Oh, right. Do you guys want to come with? It's not a super formal ceremony, so they encouraged me to invite my friends.
Chika
Whoa, really?! In that case, we'll come too! We can all congratulate the bride together on her big day!
