How are you able to sing with such a gentle voice, Umi?
Umi
Well… *Giggle* Perhaps it's because I want you to hear me sing right now, Rina.
Rina
Wah! Rina-chan Board says, “Hearts.”
Rina
You're amazing, Umi. Not only do you have a variety of expressions, but even your singing and dancing has a whole spectrum of moods from gentle to cool.
Rina
I can't be as expressive as you so… Rina-chan Board says, “Droop.”
Umi
I'm not good at being expressive either.
Rina
Really? Then how do you do all of that?
Umi
I believe that getting a song across to people is to share your heart with them.
Rina
My heart…
Umi
Rina, would I be right to say that you often think about how you appear to others?
Rina
Yeah. I get nervous when I think about being watched.
Umi
As do I. When I focus on the fact that I'm being watched, I get nervous.
Umi
However, what's important is not how you appear to others, but how you think of yourself. I believe it's important to share your heart with your audience.
Umi
That's why I focus my mind solely on expressing my heart and sharing it with others.

You should also share your heart with others, Rina. Don't you feel as though you might be able to do it even a little if you just think about it that way?
Umi
I was very unsure myself when I performed my solo live show. I really know how you feel, Rina.
Umi
However, if anyone can take that step forward, it's you. And, you have always been so fantastic with your solo efforts to date.
Umi
You have your amazing board as well. Even if you need your Rina-chan Board to express your feelings sometimes, you should feel at ease that you aren't hiding anything.
Rina
Thank you! You're so kind, Umi. Why are you going to such lengths for me?
Umi
I want to tell you everything I can because you sought me out for advice. Of course, I don't expect you to take everything in, though.
