I'm now in the process of considering how to put together the elements I like.
Setsuna
I've already decided how they're going to introduce themselves!
Setsuna
I'll have the detective and her assistant say this…

Oh, but this way, the pose would be all off. I need at least three people in this scene…
Player
I see, I see.
Setsuna
Then, that means the third person…
Setsuna
…should be the culprit. And if I have them kill the other two, that'll really shock the readers, won't it?!
Player
Whaaat?!
Player
You certainly shocked me! I mean, the culprit's supposed to be caught by the detective, right?
Setsuna
Hmmm…
Setsuna
If we make it out like they're the culprit, but then they switch sides, wouldn't that be new and interesting?
Setsuna
And in fact, the culprit is some other mastermind behind the scenes!
Setsuna
Eh? What do you think?

Sounds like a real thrill ride!

If the culprit ends up becoming an ally, it kinda sounds like they'll be more of a main character than the detective.
