Ruby Ep. 26: I Want to See the Panda Cubs!
You and Ruby make plans to hang out together. When you ask her where she wants to go, she recommends the zoo. It seems that she has her sights set on meeting a certain animal.
Ruby
So, where are we going today?
Player
Good question. But are you sure you really want to spend your day off from practice with me? You don't often get breaks like this.
Ruby
Yeah. I don't get breaks all that often, what with how busy I've been preparing for live shows, but that's why I wanted to hang out with you again. It's been too long.
Player
Oh, really? Thanks. I'm happy you chose to spend your free time with me. It really has been a while since it was just us two, huh?
Ruby
*Giggle* So, is there anywhere you'd like to go?
Player
Hmm… Not sure. How about you?
Ruby
Come on! It's not fair to turn it back around on me.
Player
Well, I want to go where you want to go. So? Where would you like to go?
Ruby
Hmm… Are you sure you're okay with me picking the place?

| Player Of course. I've never had an outing with you that I didn't enjoy, so I trust your judgment. I bet you'll come up with something wonderful. Ruby Ooh… I'm glad to hear that, but now I feel pressured. |
Player
No need to stress over it.
Ruby
Um, um, um… Okay, then, I'd like to go to the zoo!
Player
Oh, the zoo? Sure. That sounds like fun.
Ruby
Hey, did you see on the news earlier that the panda there just had cubs?
Player
Really? Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing people talking about it on TV and online.
Ruby
Yeah! I saw them on the news toddling around, and they looked sooo cute! They were so tiny! I've been dying to see them in person since.
Player
I thought they were cute too. But if they were just born, the zookeepers aren't going to be showing them to the public yet, right?
Ruby
I've heard they're already grown up enough that the exhibit's reopened. So…
Player
So you'd like to go see the panda cubs. Got it! Let's go to the zoo!
Ruby
Yay!
[Fade in/out.]
Player
Hey, Ruby! Thanks for waiting!
Ruby
Morning! *Giggle* It's almost baby panda time!
Player
I thought they weren't babies anymore, though… Oh well, looks like you're too hyped up to care, huh? Did you even get enough sleep last night?
Ruby
I slept on the train, so I'll be okay!
Player
Meaning you didn't sleep at all last night?!
Ruby
C'mon, let's go! The pandas are waiting for us!
Player
Coming, coming. Well, I guess as long as you're happy, it's okay.
