Riko Ep. 23: Shopping Street Stroll
Riko joins you and Ai on a trip to downtown Numazu. The first place you visit is a shopping street that she frequents with the Aqours girls. You all have a blast as you browse the different stores there.
Ai
Where do you normally go shopping and stuff?
Riko
Hmm. I guess I usually head close to the station since there are a bunch of stores there. There's one place I always go to when I'm on my own or with everyone else.
Player
One place? You mean…

Riko
Ta-daaa! Right here! Numazu Nakamise Shopping Street!
Ai
Whoooa! This place is awesome! I totally dig the energy here! It really reminds me of my hometown.
Riko
There's a place like this where you're from too?
Ai
It's not a carbon copy, but yeah! We have a shopping street of our own. There are a bunch of shops there so it's fun even just walking around aimlessly.
Riko
Definitely. I've been in love with this place ever since I moved to Numazu myself.
Riko
I'll buy some daily essentials, have tea and snacks with the Aqours girls—stuff like that. Sometimes I drop by on my way home from somewhere since it's near the station.
Riko
It's always so bustling and welcoming. Just being here puts my mind at ease. This is one of the places where I can feel the everyday buzz of Numazu.

The craft store! This is the place we came to with Yoshiko and Mari when we were making costumes for the sub-unit live show, right?
Riko
That sure was an ordeal. We'd already settled on a costume design, but then they started throwing in new suggestions when they saw the different materials.
Ai
Now that you mention it, I need to start thinking of a costume design myself! I wonder if I can pick up something fun here.
Riko
I'm sure you'll find something. Do you want to go inside?
Ai

Oh, there's a tea shop. I guess that's Shizuoka for you!

I drop by every now and then since I get asked to buy tea leaves to brew for guests.
Ai
No kidding! Actually, there's like, a proper way to brew green tea, right? Can you do that?
Riko
Of course! Shizuoka's one of the most famous places in Japan for tea! I've got it completely mastered.
