Mari's real intention was to gather information that would help Aqours grow. You head off with Mari to the final destination of her secret Tokyo sight-seeing trip.
Mari
You don't really get a chance to actually see school idols other than yourself outside of movies or magazines, right?
Mari
I wanted to discover the worlds of other school idols. I'm sure it will be useful info for all of us in Aqours.
Player
So that's why you came all the way to Tokyo. You even used your chairwoman title to help.
Mari
Numazu doesn't have nearly as many school idols as Tokyo. We sometimes get the chance to meet them before events, but we never have the time to chat.
Mari
That's why I wanted to make time for some pure, unfiltered research. The chairwoman title was quite handy in making that happen.
Mari
People might have thought I was just some curious onlooker or a rival scout if I came as a school idol, but as a chairwoman, they give me all the answers I need.

All of us club members are performing solo live shows at the upcoming open campus. We were in the middle of preparations for it.

Oh yes, I've heard about that. I see you're in the middle of practicing your singing and dancing. What are your thoughts as you head into the actual live show?

I sincerely doubt that's the case. An interview, huh? It might be fun to imagine that it's a real magazine interview. We might have to do that as school idols one day.
