Mari Ep. 5: Mari's Intention
Mari finally decides to head back to Numazu, but before she does you ask her what she was up to, sightseeing in Tokyo. What does she answer?
Mari
I think it's time I head back.
Player
Already? Right. If you don't leave for Numazu soon, it'll be late at night by the time you get back.
Mari
I had a lot of fun! All thanks to you, by the way.
Player
I didn't do anything. I just followed you around. I only really took the lead when we got to my own school.
Mari
I was glad to see your school. It was a little disappointing I couldn't meet all of your school idols, however.

Anyways, Mari. What did you really come to Tokyo for today?
Mari
What do you mean?
Player
We only went to schools today, right? On top of that, you already had permission to go to them.
Player
You were never actually planning on going sightseeing in the first place, were you?
Mari
That's right. I lied. Sorry for tricking you.
Player
I thought so. Then why?
Mari
I actually came to Tokyo…on business!
Player
Business?!
Mari
I decided to venture to other prefectures' schools to talk about cooperating to further improve education for children!
Mari
That's right! I'm here as the chairwoman of Uranohoshi. This wasn't just pleasure!
Player
Wait, seriously?! If you were working, wasn't I just getting in the way?!
Mari
Not at all. You were the ideal assistant.
Player
Despite being extremely suspicious to other people at the schools?
Mari
I was so charmed by the way you were scared you were shaking!
Player
Ugh. I knew I wasn't being useful.
Mari
Okay, I really need to get going now. Come to Numazu to hang out some time! Ciao!
