Kotori Ep. 26: Trying Something New!
Kotori and co.'s thank-you party for their childhood friends was a huge success! Kotori says that she can only be herself thanks to her friends, and now she resolves to try something new so as to not be outdone by them.
Player
Do you have any plans for summer vacation, Kotori?
Kotori
I haven't made up my mind about anything yet, but I was thinking of challenging myself with something new.
Player
What a fun idea! You're so motivated, Kotori.
Kotori
Yeah! Recently, I've been watching everyone put on these moving live shows and host new events. It's been very inspirational.
Player
I get it. Hearing about everyone working so hard makes me as happy as if I were doing it myself!
Kotori
Yeah! My friends are all so incredible! I'm so proud of them…
Kotori
But something in the back of my mind is also saying I need to work harder, or I'm going to be left behind.
Player
I had no idea…
Option 1: “You're incredible too, Kotori!” |
---|
Player Maybe you don't see it, but you're absolutely incredible too! Kotori You mean it? I'm so happy to hear that. |
Option 2: “Let's do our best together!” |
Player I'll help you with that. Let's both do our best together! Kotori Thanks! *Giggle* I love how supportive you are. |
Kotori
I've been thinking that if I try something new this summer, I can become an even better version of myself.
Player
That sounds great to me. I hope you find something cool to try.
Kotori
I'd like to try something that no one else has done yet, but I'm not sure what that would be…
Player
How about trying something completely unrelated to school idols?
Kotori
Well, I was hoping to find something that would not only improve myself, but also benefit everyone in some way.
Player
Maybe we could go to the library or a museum? We might be able to find something to get you started there.
[Fade in/out.]
Player
Oh? I didn't know they gave out flyers here.
Kotori
How pretty! I think they might be made from washi paper.
Player
I've never seen these before. This one says, “Come and learn to make hand-held fans out of washi paper.”
Kotori
“Connect to the future by transforming traditional culture.” How lovely!
Player
It also says that you can learn more about traditional Japanese colors.
Kotori
Traditional Japanese colors? Are those different from normal colors?
Kotori
I've never heard of them, even from going to the fabric store so many times…
Kotori
I guess I don't know anything about traditional Japanese colors. I'd love to learn more about them!
Player
You did it, Kotori. You found your new thing!
Kotori
I did! Let's go and check it out!
