Kanan Ep. 28: The Stars Sparkle in Your Eyes
You enjoy some shopping and sports with Kanan. After discovering that the shopping mall you were heading to has a planetarium, you decide to go and enjoy an eyeful of the starry sky.
Kanan
I can't wait for it to begin!
Player
You were practically bouncing with excitement even while we were on our way here.
Kanan
I mean, a planetarium where you can feast your eyes on the starry sky even during the day? Sounds like paradise! Oh, it's starting!
Player
Ooh, I'm getting excited myself, too! I wonder what stars we'll get to see.
[Fade in/out.]
Kanan
Whoa, it's so pretty!
Player
Yeah. Amazing, isn't it? Hey, isn't that your star sign, Kanan? Look, there's mine too… Huh?!
Kanan
Hm? What's wrong?
Player
Oh… No, sorry. It's nothing.
[Fade in/out.]
Kanan
Ahhh, that was so much fun! I wandered aimlessly around town with you, got some exercise in, had lunch, and even got to gaze at the stars. What a perfect day off!
Player
I had fun too! This sure is a great way to spend our free time.
Kanan
Now that I think of it, what happened to you at the planetarium? You seemed surprised by something.
Player
Oh, that… I was shocked because I thought you were crying.
Kanan
What? I wasn't crying.
Player
Yeah, I know. Brain fart, I guess. Your eyes were sparkling so much that they looked like they were filled with tears.
Player
The reflection from the light mixed with your reaction to your favorite star made for an amazing sight. I was just transfixed by your eyes after that.
Kanan
Wh-Whaaat?
Kanan
Come on! Why come all that way to the planetarium just to stare at me instead of the stars?

| Player I tried to look at them, but I just found myself turning to you. I couldn't help myself and spent the whole time looking at you! Kanan You can't sweet-talk your way out of this! The stars would be in tears if they knew you didn't even see how pretty they were. |

| Player Well, why not? Today was my day out with you, so I don't think I was wrong to keep my gaze on you. Kanan I don't buy it. I suppose that means you didn't listen closely to the explanations of the stars either? |
Kanan
Fine, then. I'll just have to use a real starry sky to teach you all about these celestial wonders! Let's do some stargazing before our next live show is scheduled.
Player
Are you sure? Yaaay! I'll get to see your sparkling eyes again!
Kanan
That's not what you should be looking forward to!
Player
Ooh, are you embarrassed? I can tell you're blushing even in the light of the sunset.
Kanan
I am not! Oh, I just can't believe you. I'll be very mad if I catch you peeking at me when you're supposed to be looking at the stars!
Player
Okaaay.
Player
(But I'll probably end up with my eyes glued to you anyway. I want to see your eyes when they're sparkling and gazing at something you love…)
Kanan
All right then, let's set a date. Let me know which day works best for you. Ah, I'll have to check the weather too so we can pick a clear day.
Kanan
I'll have to make your eyes sparkle too by teaching you all the wonders of the sky. That way I can enjoy both you and the stars!
