Hanamaru Ep. 13: Flowers Scattered Amongst the Waves
The final theme you have to take on is “romance.” However, just what should you do to experience romance? After mulling it over with Hanamaru and the others, you come up with an idea.

We experienced a mystery and an adventure! So that just leaves the last theme, romance!

Our goal this time is to give a sense of realism and profoundness to the performance, and to do that we need to do to experience “romance” for ourselves.
Player
Hanamaru, Ruby, do you have anyone you LIKE like?
Ruby
Someone I LIKE like?! N-N-No way! There's no one like that!
Hanamaru
M-Me neither, zura! I've never even thought about experiencing anything romantic for myself.
Player
Same goes for me. If I have to pick someone I LIKE like, I'd say the club members from Nijigasaki, but that's not exactly romantic. How about you, Shizuku?
Shizuku
What, me?! Th-There isn't anyone I have those kinds of feelings for…
Player
I see… All right, then let's split into two groups using rock, paper, scissors.
Hanamaru
Hm? Why?
Player
Just do it. Ready… Go!
Shizuku, Hanamaru, Ruby

Player
Hanamaru and I chose paper, Shizuku and Ruby were rock. All right, pretend to be a couple with the person that picked the same thing as you!
[Fade in/out.]

The ocean is so beautiful.
Hanamaru
I-It is…
Player
But you're even more beautiful, Hanamaru.
Hanamaru
What?!
Player
*Laugh* Your face is bright red. You look even more nervous than usual.
Hanamaru
O-Of course I am, zura! You're pretending to get all romantic all of a sudden…
Player
I thought this way would be the most casual. I wish I could've thought up a better way than just pretending, though.
Hanamaru
No, I think this is the best we can do with how things are. It's just, now that we're actually going through with it, I'm overthinking things and can't talk.
Hanamaru
There are so many things I want to talk to you about now that I've got this alone time with you, but I'm panicking too much to get my thoughts together.

I'm plenty nervous. It's taking everything I have just to keep my voice from shaking. Wouldn't I look totally uncool if I freaked out when I was the one who suggested this?

You aren't uncool at all, zura! I was surprised when you suggested this, but I feel like I understand why you did, and I think you're amazing just for coming up with the idea!
Player
Thank you. You know, this might be what it means to fall in love.
Player
Even though you want to talk more to the person you like, your heart is beating too hard to do it, so you try to make yourself look good to impress them.
Hanamaru
Then… Does that mean we just…f-f-fell in…love?
