You think they're hanging out in one place, and then before you know it, they're off somewhere else.
Emma
*Giggle* I've never seen Shioriko having so much fun! It's like I've found a whole new side of her!
Emma
Right. Mai, let me explain today's practice.
Emma
I thought today we'd focus on composition in photography.
Mai
Composition, huh… That relies quite a bit on having a good instinct for it. I think this is gonna be a little hard for me…
Mai
In a photo studio, you just photograph people sitting down from the front. So long as it's the same number of people, the composition shouldn't really change.
Emma
But the photos you showed me all had compositions that fit the subject, right?
Mai
Right…
Emma
Even the group photos you took of us before had their own unique composition.
Emma
So I know you can do this, Mai!

Heya! You said you're taking our photographs today, didn't you?

Well! Take as many as you like! I look good in any shot that features me!

Mai

Um… If you don't mind, I'd like to recommend a pose. It's like a roll call pose from a sentai superhero show.
Ai
There are four of us, so we could pop someone on our shoulders and make a battle formation! I wanna be on the bottom at the front!
Ayumu
Why don't we all sit side by side on that bench? That would be closest to the studio photography that Mai specializes in.
Lanzhu
This is supposed to be practice, Ayumu! She shouldn't just do what she normally does!
Lanzhu
I'm interested in this battle formation thing! Tell me about it, Ai!
Ai
Ooh, you don't know about it? It's actually a staple of school sports carnivals. Let's go a round!
Setsuna
It's like a mech that fuses together out of smaller mechs, right? Let's do it!
Emma
E-Everyone calm down! Okay, form a line!
