But I suppose you can't just go ice skating on a whim like you can with swimming or track-and-field sports, so maybe I'm not as experienced as I could be.

You're right about that. Most schools have a pool and a sports ground, and Uchiura is close to the sea.

I guess it's pretty hard to gain experience in ice skating since you can only skate at a neighborhood rink or at a temporary set-up for an event.

But that might be why I was so excited during my skating session! It was SO much fun!

Aww, I missed out. I would've gone if I didn't have plans already. Hearing Kasumi and Setsuna say they had fun made me so jealous.

The jump I messed up. The landing was a mess, but I also don't think I did enough spins. I got two spins in, I think.

That element is super difficult. Most professional figure skaters even have trouble attempting it, yet that's what you're trying to pull off?!
