Look, the wisteria is in full bloom. There's something so elegant about wisterias, isn't there?

They come up a lot in the Man'yoshu, the oldest known collection of Japanese poetry. Maybe people back in the eighth century looked out on these same wisterias.

So many girls must have felt the late spring breeze, worried over problems, cried, and laughed, all beneath these same flowers.

Imagining things like that kinda warms my heart.

I think I'll sing with the thoughts of those girls foremost in my mind today. Want to listen?
