Kasumi told me all about it. She was bouncing off the walls since the plans were made, and said she had a lot of fun.
Maki
Right. It did seem like she had a lot of fun. I think she enjoyed listing all the things she wanted to do the most.
Player
I did wonder if maybe she stressed you out with all that excitement. She even said herself that she was worried she went too far…
Maki
No, nothing like that. Though at one point, I did wonder how it turned into such a big deal.

Things got a bit out of hand, but it only started because they were trying to think of ways to clear up my songwriter's block.
Maki
Their logic was that I'd be able to write songs again if I changed things up and refreshed my mind, so it wasn't a bad idea in itself.
Player
You're such a nice person, Maki.
Maki
Hey now! Where'd that come from?!
Player
*Laugh* So did you finish your new song? Kasumi and Emma were worried about it.
Maki
Oh, about that. I finished it before we went on the trip.
Player
You did?
Maki
I think talking about the trip with everyone was enough of a change of pace.
Maki
Anyway, it was a great lesson in how important it is to switch things up.
Maki
When my songwriting isn't going well, sitting around in front of the piano won't make it better. I'm not going to think of any melodies while my mind is blocked.
Player

Maki
It's because you're stuck while writing a song, right? So let's take the day to refresh ourselves.
Maki
You know, you've been bringing up other girls' names one after the other all this time, even though I'm right here with you.
Maki
Watch out, because from now on, mine will be the only name on your lips.
