Maki and Riko are performing together on one piano, huh? That's gonna be one awesome recital!

I think it'd actually be more exciting if I was involved, but I suppose it IS just a piano recital.

So tomorrow, I'm supposed to meet up with Eli and pick out a present for Maki before we head to the show…

Oh! I just had the best idea ever!

If I get my hands on a wonderful present before I meet up with Eli…

…I bet she'll be like, “Wow, Kasumi! You're the cutest ever! Even the presents you pick out are super cute! I knew I could count on you, you little cutie, you!”

Nyeh heh heh… I'm gonna get out there early and pick out a present before I even see her.

*Yawn* Maybe I got up TOO early… But a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do if she wants to get the best present ever!

We're gonna give her the present after the recital, so I wonder what I should pick?

OOH! That tantalizingly tasty scent… It could only be freshly-baked bread!

Oh, that's right. I remember reading an article about this super-popular bakery that opened up around here.

If I just follow the scent… *Sniff* *Sniff* It's over there!

Wow! So this is the bakery that's got everyone talking!

There are bread rolls in the display windows, and even on the sign!

Wait, could it be?! Could it be that they made this bakery just for me?! The biggest lover of bread rolls in the world?!

I can't believe how many varieties of rolls they have! My mind's blown! I'm gonna shop 'til I drop!

I bet Maki will be so relieved that her recital went off without a hitch that she'll be super hungry afterwards. This'll be the perfect present for her!

Let's see, we got sandwiches, curry bread, melon bread, and even baguettes and croissants! *Chuckle* The more I buy, the more awesome this present is gonna be!

Oh yeah…

My ever-supportive Prez mentioned she was interested in checking out one of my bakery recommendations sometime.

Oh my gosh! This cream bun is adorable! It's shaped like a little piggy's face.

The Prez does tend to space out a lot, so this bread should be perfect for her! I'll be seeing her pretty soon anyway, so I may as well buy it for her while I'm here!

That should do it! I can't wait to see Maki stuffing her happy little face with all this delicious bread after her recital!

Oh! But Maki can be a little picky…

What if she goes, “Ugh, you think a little bread will satisfy me?! I don't get you!” Oh geez, what am I gonna do?!

If I'm gonna satisfy her picky cravings… I gotta get her some dessert! She can't complain if I get her some desserts too!

So if we go by how I'm feeling today… It's a candy sorta day! I'll bring a huge feast with 500 whole yen worth of little candies!

Wow… I'm just SO thoughtful and generous!

Now I KNOW this is the best present! Everyone's gonna be SO surprised!
