Kanan #664: If It Were Every Day
Nozomi
See you, Honoka.
Kanan
We'll be back another time.
[Fade in/out.]
Nozomi
That's all the shopping at Homura Bakery done.
Kanan
But wow, there sure were a lot of cute Japanese sweets there, huh.
Nozomi
You could say that again! We spent so much time trying to pick them.
Kanan
Japanese sweets vary depending on the season, right? I never knew that there were so many different kinds for spring.
Nozomi
It's interesting to see how they express the changing of seasons with their colors and shapes.
Kanan
Honoka's got it so good. I mean, she gets to eat Japanese sweets every day!
Nozomi
But you know, she said that she's already tired of eating sweet buns!
Kanan
Now that's a problem I'd love to have.
Nozomi
*Giggle* Maybe being too close to them has made her take them for granted, surprisingly. I mean, even you'd get bored of diving if you did it every day, right?
Kanan
Hmm… I think I'd be fine with that.
Kanan
I mean, the ocean's got a different face on every day. It never looks how it did the day before.
Nozomi
The ocean's face, huh? I think that's something only you understand because you dive every day.
Kanan
Hey, Nozomi? Do you want to come diving with me sometime?
Nozomi
Who, me?
Kanan
Yeah. I'd love for you to get to know the wonders of the Uchiura sea too. The sea creatures get really lively in spring and it's a lot of fun to watch.
Nozomi
I guess I'll take you up on that offer then. Show me what Uchiura's waters have got!
Kanan
Leave it all to me. I'll show you all sorts of wonderful things that you'll never forget.
