Huh?! Oh, uh, not exactly. There's no school today, right? So I wanted to go out somewhere.

Oh, I was writing this.

It's my log. I record my dives in here. I write where I dove, the date, the depth, water temperature, and a bunch of other stuff.

Wow, that's really something, look at how detailed it is! Huh? The newest page here is dated today.

Yeah. I was writing about this morning's dive. I usually write it right after resurfacing and changing, but I had to mind the shop today.

I was thinking of writing it after my shift ended, but I really wanted to write it while my memories were still fresh.

Oh, so you waited for things to slow down before writing it up, huh?

Yeah, that's why I didn't notice you right away. I really should actually mind the store while I'm here, huh?

Ahaha. But, I mean, who doesn't want to do what they want when no one's looking? I know how you feel.

I've only got notes on the Uchiura sea for now, but one of these days, I want to write about a lot of other waters, too.

I know you can do it! I bet you'll become a super skilled diver, able to dive in seas all over the world.

And then your log book, filled with your love for the sea, is going to become a classic among divers everywhere!
