Eli #7: Sharing Ourselves More
Eli
Umi, thanks for today. It's really been a while since I've been to an art gallery.
Umi
Oh, the pleasure is all mine, especially since I do not have many chances to go to art galleries on my own. Now, let us be off.
[Fade in/out.]
Eli
Oh, my! There's a Russian exhibit on today?
Umi
They apparently borrowed paintings and art objects from a museum in Russia. There's also a workshop where you can paint a matryoshka, too.
Eli
Harasho! How wonderful, let's see as much as we can today.
[Fade in/out.]
Umi
*Sigh* My heart is still racing from all of those stunning paintings.
Eli
That landscape painting with the impossibly wide sky is still with me. It reminded me of the sky I saw in Russia, so long ago.
Umi
It did? My. I don't get the chance to hear those kinds of things from you often, Eli, so I'm really glad.
Eli
I was really little, so I don't remember much, but Russian scenery and culture has probably had a bit of an effect on me.
Umi
I want to know more about the culture you grew up in, Eli. That's what I had in mind.
Umi
I want to know more about you.
Eli
Aw, Umi. Thank you.
Umi
Ah, I-I'm sorry! I must sound so strange, what am I even saying?!
Eli
Oh, not at all, no need to apologize!
Eli
Because I want to know more about you too, Umi.
Umi
Oh, um. Thank you.
Eli
*Giggle* Let's try the matryoshka painting next. How about an Elichika matryoshka? Ahah, kidding, kidding.
Umi
I like the sound of that! Giving them your and Alisa's faces would make them turn out so cute!
Eli
Let's go to a Russian restaurant afterwards! I'll introduce one of my favorite places as thanks for today.
Umi
Sure! I'd love to!
