Does this design suit the steampunk style? Do I look okay?

I did a lot of research into steampunk to make this costume, but the whole world of steampunk became more mysterious the more I looked into it.

A world where steam-powered technology is highly advanced. I know it's fiction, but steam engines really did power the world's industries and public transport in the past.

Maybe our world followed the same historical path as that of a steampunk story. The possibility of that can't be entirely ruled out.

I wonder what lives we would lead right now if we did live in that kind of world. How would I meet you? Just thinking about it gets me all excited.
