Ch. 32 Ep. 2: μ's' Advice Column?!
You decide to volunteer for the school idol fansite's campaign as a way to gather promo video ideas. The project you are tasked with involves μ's. What happens on your long-overdue revisit to Otonokizaka?
[Fade in/out.]
Umi
The helper from the school idol fansite should be coming soon.
Kotori
I've got the tea perfectly prepped and ready to go!
Honoka
And I've brought some sweets from home!
Hanayo
I wonder what kind of things they want us to help with for the campaign. I'm so excited!
Nico
They want to interview us about the promo video we'll be making for the School Idol Exhibition, duh!
Nico
I bet everyone's dying to find out what kind of promo video each school will make for their idols. I'm sure there's a bunch of fans losing sleep over what we've got lined up.
Nico
And to put those fans' worries to rest, we gotta make sure we share lots and looots of info for them!
Maki
That's easier said than done. We still haven't decided on what we want to do, remember?
Eli
Exactly. If this interview really is about our promo video, we'll be honest and tell them just that.
Nico
Whaaat?! But I wanna reassure our fans that we've got it under control!
Nozomi
Well, I guess I can see where you're coming from.
Rin
That reminds me! We met the Nijigasaki Prez for the first time during another one of the fansite's campaigns, didn't we?
Hanayo
You're right. She was the one who came to interview us back then.
Honoka
Those best-of-nine contests were so much fun!
Nico
Urk… I still don't accept how mine turned out!
[Fade in/out.]
Player
It's been a while since I've seen the μ's girls.
Player
This really takes me back. The first time I came here was when I was helping out the school idol fansite too.
Player
Ack! What am I doing? This is no time for me to be reminiscing!
[Fade in/out.]
Player
Long time no see, guys!
Honoka
Aaahhh! It's been so long! We were only just talking about you!
Player
What? Really?
Maki
Yes. Nico was just expressing her frustration at losing to Kasumi in the best-of-nine contests.
Nico
I didn't lose! It was a draw!
Player
*Laugh* We sure had a lot of fun then.
Eli
Sorry to interrupt—and I know you came all the way here to see us—but we're waiting for someone from the school idol fansite right now.
Eli
We agreed to help them out with a campaign they're running.
Eli
I really am sorry to make you wait like this, but…
Player
Oh, that would be me! I'm helping out with the fansite again.
Hanayo
Really?!
Hanayo
Phew! I was worried about whether I could handle talking to a stranger or not, so I'm super glad that you're the one who came!
Nozomi
Let's get down to it, shall we?
[Fade in/out.]
Honoka
“Ask μ's”? Is that like an advice column?
Player
Yep. When the Exhibition was collecting suggestions on what campaigns to run to liven things up, a lot of people said they wanted advice from μ's for their problems.
Umi
They want us to offer them advice? That's quite the responsibility.
Hanayo
Yeah… I don't know if we'll be able to give them any good answers.
Player
I think the fans trust everyone in μ's enough to confide in them about their problems.
Player
I mean, we're always asking you guys for advice too…
Honoka
I'm so glad that everyone trusts us this much! Let's do it, guys! I want to give it a try!
Kotori
If Honoka says so, then I guess I'll give it my best shot too!
Nico
Aw, I was so sure the interview was going to be about the promo video. Boo!
Player
You're the very image of a perfect idol, so I'm sure everyone's eager to hear your advice. You give off the vibe that you're a dependable school idol who's got it all together.
Nico
Well! I guess I have no choice then. There's no way that I can let them down if they all look up to me so much!
Player
Now that's the Nico I know!
Maki
Nico's so easy to please…
Nozomi
The Prez knows exactly what buttons to press to convince her!
Eli
So we all agree to participate in this project?
Rin
Of course! Let's all do our best!
Player
Thanks, guys! I'll get started with opening email submissions on the fansite then. I'll bring them to you once we've gathered some.
