Today, we're going to publicly draw numbers in a draft to decide our tournament pairings for next week's event.

Each of the eight participants will draw a number between 1 and 8. Then, in numerical order, each person will choose who they want to compete against in the first round.

Once a person is named as the competitor, their pairing will be decided, so their number will not be called. That's how we'll pick our pairings.

All right, you guys. Everyone pick their number at the same time. Ready? One, two…

Okay, who would you like to sing against, Rina?

Ai!

Ooh, me, of all people? I never would've thought you'd pick me, Rinari!

Shizuku transferred over to the School Idol Association for a time, but has since returned to the Club. What's in store for their singing battle? I'm getting very excited.

Kasumi can't beat Karin in a verbal argument, but will she be able to take her down in a singing competition?

Um, anyway… The third match has been decided, so…

The fourth match will automatically be the two remaining participants!

Yes, the fourth match will be Setsuna vs. Shioriko!

I haven't competed against you since the last student council election, Shioriko.

I may have lost then, but I absolutely refuse to lose to you as a school idol!

Nobody goes into battle planning for defeat. I will do my utmost to win as well!

That's all I could ask for! But don't think for a second that you'll beat me easily.

I don't think I have that much of an advantage over you, Setsuna. All I can do is prepare thoroughly for this challenge.
