No cryptid today, either…

I thought for sure we'd find somethin' today since Hanayo saw it yesterday.

Well, it wouldn't be called a cryptid if it was easy to find. Where could that thing be hiding?

This is just a thought, but maybe it's just that we're not looking for it properly. We're trying to find an ocean cryptid, but we've been searching on land this whole time.

Huh, come to think of it… Yeah, we've really only covered the beach and the roads and wherever we can see from land.

So I'm thinking we should expand our search area into the ocean!

She couldn't come with me because something came up at the last minute, but she said she'd meet back up with us after she finishes. We'll just have to wait a bit for her.

Got it! Anyway, nobody knows the sea more than Kanan, so that's why I got her to come out here!

That makes so much sense! Kanan's a diver and You's on the swim team, so she's great at swimming. They're the perfect people to help us!

I was really shocked when Honoka told me what was up. Like, seriously, a cryptid? But hey, it could be fun. I'd love to meet a sea cryptid!

Okay, but there's all kinds of stuff we need to prepare if we're actually searching the ocean, right? You know, like wetsuits, oxygen tanks… That kinda stuff!

No worries on that front. I've already scoped out a shop near here where we can rent some diving equipment.

I appreciate the concern, but I'll be fine! I'm not a full-fledged diver, but I know what I'm doing. The sea is fun, but also dangerous. That said, I'm off!

Whoa! So this is what the ocean's like in Tokyo. It really does feel a little different from the waters in Uchiura. Oh, there's even fish around here. They're so cute!

It's different, but not completely foreign. Even with all these new sensations, there's a feeling of familiarity too… It must be because it connects to Uchiura, too.

I think I'll dive a little deeper. I wanna see more of Tokyo's underwater world!
