Enjoy the Taste of Fall! Ep. 2
Umi
Phew, we're finally here. And they told us to meet…
Ruby
Ah. I see Emma over there.
Kanata
Over there, it seems.
Kanata
Heyyyy, Emmaaa!
[Fade in/out.]
Emma
Oh, Kanata! Ruby, Umi! We were waiting for you.
Hanamaru
Did you have any trouble finding us, zura?
Ruby
We almost got sucked in by that dumpling place we saw on the way, but otherwise we made it just fine.
Hanayo
Ohh! That store looked super yummy. It seemed like they use only the best ingredients.
Emma
*Giggle* Let's pick some dumplings up on our way home. Well then, since everyone is here, let the fall harvest festival begin.
Umi
Umm, so what exactly does a fall harvest festival entail?
Hanayo
Excellent question! We're going to have a barbecue party using fresh seasonal ingredients!
Kanata
Sweet potatoes, chestnuts, pumpkin, mackerel pike, and mushrooms!
Ruby
Whoa, you really went all out on the barbecue setup.
Hanamaru
These days it's really convenient to just rent everything you need, zura.
Umi
You were able to rent all of these things? That is really convenient.
Emma
*Chuckle* That's exactly why we chose this place.
Umi
That makes sense.
Ruby
Huh?
Hanayo
What's wrong, Ruby?
Ruby
I don't see any other food besides rice here.
Ruby
Oh, did you go out and rent a fridge, too?
Emma
Nope. The only ingredient we have right now is the rice that Hanayo brought.
Kanata
What? Then where is the taste of fall you mentioned?
Hanamaru
Heh heh heh. About that. We're all going to go out and get the food ourselves, zura!
Umi
You mean to say that there's so much that we need to help you carry everything, right?
Hanayo
Nope. I mean we're going to forage everything from the mountains and the rivers.
Emma
Because this is a fall HARVEST festival.
Ruby
F-Forage? We are?
Hanayo
So that means we need to split up into pairs to go hunting for ingredients!
Kanata
Oh no. I'm already starving, but now… If I'd known, then I would've bought those rice balls at the station.
Umi
I know this has thrown us all for a loop, but since we're already here, there's no going back, Kanata. We just have to do our best to get enough fall foods to fill us up!
