Leave it to me, zura! To eat monjayaki, you take these special tiny spatulas called hagashi!

Oh, they're so little and cute!

You use these to pull apart the monjayaki, zura. See, you take the hagashi and peel off the crispy, brown parts.

The crispy parts? Not the thick, gooey parts?

Doing it this way makes it tastier, zura. First you get a bunch of the browned parts…

And then, you get some of the gooey stuff and put it with the crispy bits. And then… *Chomp!*

Mmm! A perfect crispy and gooey blend! And the flavor of those scallops is unbelievable, zura!
