Joy on a Moonlit Night Ep. 1
Lanzhu
Ahhh, practicing with everyone is always such fun! I wish it were time for tomorrow's practice already.
Setsuna
I feel the same way. We'll have to get lots of sleep tonight so we're ready for tomorrow's practice.
Lanzhu
You're not wrong, but I'm worried I'll be too hyped up to sleep!
[Fade in/out.]
Setsuna
Oh, you're here, Shioriko.
Shioriko
Good work today, both of you.
Lanzhu
Hm? Shioriko, what are you reading?
Shioriko
A lifestyle magazine. The cover looked beautiful, so I borrowed it from the library.
Setsuna
Wow, what a gorgeous cover! It's like a path of light.
Shioriko
It's something they call a moon road.
Setsuna, Lanzhu
A moon road?
Shioriko
Apparently, that's what they call it when the full moon on the horizon lights up the surface of the water, making it look like a road. It says so here in this magazine.
Shioriko
They say that any wish made on a moon road is sure to come true.
Lanzhu
Wow, I've never heard that before!
Setsuna
Me neither! It grants your wish? How romantic.
Setsuna
What would you wish for if you made a wish on a moon road, Shioriko?
Shioriko
Me? I suppose I'd wish for Nijigasaki's future. I want this school to get even better.
Setsuna
*Giggle* That's so you.
Shioriko
What would you two wish for?
Lanzhu
I don't need to wish for anything! I'm capable of making all my dreams come true by myself!
Lanzhu
But, hmm… If I were going to wish for anything, I guess I'd wish to go on a trip with everyone!
Setsuna
I'd wish for all of us to take a cool photo together while striking a sentai superhero team pose!
Lanzhu
I'd do that with you anytime! I'll strike any pose you want perfectly!
Setsuna
Really?! In that case, I'll have to search for the perfect spot for the photo!
Shioriko
Why don't we visit a moon road so that all of our wishes can be granted, then?
Lanzhu
Squee! That's an awesome idea, Shioriko!
Setsuna
Yeah, I'd love to see a moon road together with everyone!
Setsuna
But where can we find one?
Shioriko
Leave that to me. I'll take you all to one on the night of the next full moon.
