I'm a bit nervous about writing my first calligraphy of the year. Still, I'm gonna do my best to write something!

My hopes for the year…and my own resolve. I'll write down here the kind of person I want to become!

I did it! I wrote down my ambitions for this year!

Then I guess I'll go first. Ahem! My goal for the new year is, “Bring more smiles to everyone as the number one idol in the galaxy!”

So I'm gonna smile a whole ton this year too!

I love that! My goal is, “Share even more of what I love with the world.”

When I spend time being a school idol, my feelings of passion just keep bubbling over without end! I want to share that passion with everyone again this year!

My goal is, “Gain more stamina and give even more perfect performances.”

Whether it's for practice or live shows, you can't give a good performance without lots of stamina!

I want to build up my endurance so I can get closer to being a wonderful school idol like my sister.

My goal is, “Explore the wonder of school idols even more!”

Naturally, that means watching other school idols too. But I also want to learn more and more of the charms of school idols through our own activities!

My goal is, “Keep boosting everyone's spirits so that our circle of good vibes spreads way wider!” I want everyone to have a blast when they're with me!

My goal is, “Become a school idol that can soothe everyone's worries!” I want to gently loosen the bands of stress around everyone's hearts and help cheer them up.

I feel like you've already achieved that goal.

Yeah. I feel my heart give a great sigh of relief whenever I see you perform.

I'm very happy to hear that. But I want to be a school idol that can reach even more people with that soothing, reassuring energy.

Ah, so you're aiming for even greater heights.

Exactly! I want to heal way, way more hearts than I already have!

Actually… Would it be okay to take a photo of everyone's New Year's calligraphy?

Sure! Say, Emma, you're taking way more photos than usual today.

*Giggle* I actually took these photos to show my family back in Switzerland how much fun I'm having by spending the New Year in Japan.
