I'll stop you there. I think I know what you're about to say.
Player
Huh?
Shizuku
I thought long and hard about what you said to me the other day, about my favorite things and what I enjoy.
Player
This sounds like what I was going to say to you.
Shizuku
Yeah!
Shizuku
My uniqueness comes from my love of acting!
Player
Yes, my thoughts exactly.
Shizuku
I love acting…but I can't really share that passion with my fans.
Shizuku
I want my fans to see me act, so I was thinking of ways I could show them that side of me.
Shizuku
But I got kind of stuck…
Shizuku
So, for a change of pace, I watched a musical DVD I got the other day.
Player
Yeah?
Shizuku
It was so fun to watch. I felt so happy after I watched it, and it inspired me to want to create a story like that of my own.
Shizuku
I love plays and musicals. And singing, of course! I also love really good storytelling.
Shizuku
I want to share these feelings with my fan club!
Shizuku
So, I thought maybe I could think up my own story, and express it in my performance.

The only thing is, how will I tell my story? Maybe I could write a script, then publish it on my fan club's official website.

But it's not very fun for fans to just read a script online. Hmm… What to do…

I think you shine the brightest when you're playing a role. I'm positive that your fans feel the same way. You should show everyone how brightly you can shine.
Shizuku

Why don't you do a live reading of your play for your fan club?
Shizuku
A live reading?

Player
It's something that can only be experienced by your fan club.

*Giggle* You may be right about that. My fans will be so surprised if they come to hear me sing, but then I come out on stage and do a reading of my play.
Shizuku
Oh, but maybe that will disappoint them…
Player
Hmm… I think they'll be happy to see you perform regardless, but if you're worried, maybe you could add some singing… That's it! You should do both!
Shizuku
Huh? Both?
Player
Yeah! Like your favorite theater company does. It doesn't have to be a musical, but why not put on a performance that combines a live reading and some songs?
Shizuku
A combination of a live reading and songs?
Player
Yeah! I'm absolutely sure your fans will want to see both. So let's give it to them!
Shizuku
That's a wonderful idea! We'll have twice as much fun in a performance with both live reading and singing! I really want to do this!
