Setsuna is unusually late to the event because her parents held her back. Her conversation with them afterward also goes poorly and she runs out of patience.

Well… I talked to my parents about why I retired as student council president and told them about secretly being a school idol.
Setsuna
My parents are really strict. I had some freedom when I was the student council president, but when I quit they told me to take some worthwhile lessons instead.
Setsuna
But now that I want to focus on being a school idol, I can't take other lessons. I thought this would be a good opportunity to bring it up to them, but…

Setsuna

I kept talking to them because I really wanted them to understand, but…

They think I was kicked out of the student council because of the school idol thing! They said being a school idol is a waste of time.
Setsuna
That's ridiculous! They just don't understand what school idols are!
Setsuna
I want them to understand that this is not something I'm willing to give up on. So…I'm running away.
