Right? The paper airplanes the protagonist picked up were always only numbered up to five, and always had the same thing written on them.

She went looking for the person launching the paper airplanes out of curiosity, only to find—

A childhood friend who used to live in the same neighborhood as her. But this friend is suffering from a serious illness. Ever since it came on, her memories only last a day.

The protagonist is really rattled by this, but her friend is super positive.

Like when she says, “Every time you come to see me from here on, it'll always bring on a sense of nostalgia as if I haven't seen you for a while!”

She doesn't see her memories lasting only for a day as a negative in her life.

Yeah, she said it's unfortunate that she forgets the fun times, but she can take on challenges over and over again because she also forgets her failures.

She doesn't fear failure because she can just forget it all. So she can always get excited about stuff…

Oh no, that's gonna make me cry…

But it's a movie that sure does fill you with courage.

Yeah. I'm happy that I get to help out with promoting it.

And I want to take on all sorts of challenges, just like the girl in this movie.

I actually do. I want to try writing songs.
