Mari Ep. 28: A Night to Act Cool
While enjoying some shopping with Mari, you start to feel like you really are living together. As the sun begins to set and Mari suggests you head back home, you tell her that there's one more place you want to visit.

Now, where next… Wait, maybe your house?
Player
Oh, are we going home?
Mari
Well, the sun has already set. My parents will get really worried if I stay out any later. I didn't think we'd run out of time, but I guess that wasn't the case, huh.
Player
Mari… Can't you stay a bit longer?
Mari
Huh? But…
Player
It's fine. I told our moms that we might be late. So will you come with me to one last place?
[Fade in/out.]
Player
We're here, Mari.
Mari
Amazing! What a wonderful restaurant!
Player
*Giggle* You like it, I take it?
Mari
Yeah! The night view from the window looks like sparkling jewelry. It's so beautiful!
Player
This place just opened up. People say it has a stylish interior and great food, so I knew I had to bring you here.
Mari
That's so nice, thank you! I never expected you to bring me somewhere like this!
Player
I suppose I don't usually go to fancy places like this…
Player
But you're always the one taking care of me, so I thought I should show off my good side for a change.
Mari
*Giggle* So that's why you've seemed so on edge all day.

Come on, let's turn that frown upside down! We've got a fun dinner ahead of us, after all!
Player
*Groan* I ended up letting you cheer me up after all. But it doesn't matter, so long as you're happy.
Mari
You'll have your chance to get back at me. The night's still young, you know!
Mari
I wonder what sort of heart-racing occasion you have in store for me. *Giggle* I won't be able to sleep a wink tonight with all the excitement!
