Maki ponders the purpose of a live show all for herself. The answer gradually becomes clear to her.

(I never get tired of hearing Maki play the piano.)
Maki
You can play the piano, too, so I'm surprised you always come to hear me play.
Player
*Laugh* I'm here every day, aren't I? Even though I should also be practicing.
Maki
I wouldn't mind practicing together. Why do you come listen to me every day?
Player

I get it. I understand what you're trying to say.
Maki
*Chuckle* I had no idea you liked me so much.
Player
Yup!
Maki
Hey! I was just kidding. Don't respond seriously.
Player
Really? But it's true that I like you…
Maki
That's enough! You're so persistent.
Player
(I made her angry.)
Maki
It makes you happy, huh?
Maki
Maybe that's why people come to our live shows.
Player
Who are you talking about?
Maki
I'm talking about the people who will come to our solo live shows.
Maki
Do you remember when we talked before? I said the point of of a solo live show might be to show everyone how much you've improved.
Player
Yeah. We talked about solo live shows with the Nijigasaki girls.
Maki
I've been thinking long and hard about it after listening to what they had to say and what you had to say.
Maki
But eventually, I realized that I was thinking about it all wrong.
Player
Thinking about it wrong?
Maki
The people who come to solo live shows don't care about the results of our practice. They probably just want to have a good time.
Player
I see. Yeah, it'd be amazing if your solo live show could give them that!
Maki
Yes. I plan to live up to their expectations.
Maki
I want to make everyone who comes to my show happy.
Player
Yeah! If anyone can do it, you can!
Maki
Hey, this involves you too, you know.
Player
Huh?
Maki
You're going to support me, right? This is a show that the two of us are putting on together.
Player
Maki! You're right! We're in this together!
