Amazing, Ai! Is this for my work experience? Am I going to be working at a monjayaki restaurant?

Yup! I figured you'd feel better having Ai around, and this will let you learn about a different kind of customer service than you provide at the maid café. What do you think?

No prob! Okay, so for today, I'm going to whip up some monjayaki for you to enjoy.
[Fade in/out.]
Ai
I take the grilled ingredients and make an outer ring like this. It's called a bank, and it's to stop the batter from going everywhere when I pour it in.
Kotori
I see! Okay, so we use the bank to prevent the batter from spilling.
Player
You're taking notes? Oh, then how about I record a video of Ai as she cooks?
Kotori
Thank you! Then I can review it later and learn from her expert skills.
Ai
Haha, you make me sound like a professor! Dr. Ai, that's me. Like an ophthalmologist, but backward!
Ai
Okay, I think this is enough. Once you start seeing scorch marks, we can serve it up with these little spatulas and eat it.
Kotori
It smells wonderful. Time to dig in!

…Mmm! Ai, this tastes amazing!
Kotori
I wonder if I'll be able to make monjayaki that's anywhere near as good.
Ai
Don't you worry. We have lots of regulars, so if worse comes to worst, you can always just pass over the ingredients and let them cook for themselves!
Kotori
Huh? Oh no, I couldn't!
Ai
Why not? Some places only offer the ingredients anyway, so it's not like you absolutely have to make it for them.
Kotori
But if I learn how to make good monjayaki, I'm sure it'll make the customers happy.
Kotori
Since this is my one chance at this program, I want to try something totally new. I want to try making my own monjayaki!
