Karin listens to the song idea that you wrote. It sets her off because she hates to lose at anything. She puts a lot of extra effort into her practice, but still worries that she's not doing enough.

Do you really think so? I think it's incredible that you've come so far in such a short time, don't you?
Karin
I still have a long way to go.
Player
Setsuna was saying how good you were too.
Karin
I appreciate that. However, it's still not good enough for the song that you wrote for me. It's not good enough for her, either.
Player
Who do you mean?
[Fade in/out.]
Karin
The movie's protagonist. She started practicing the saxophone from scratch, and she managed to perform both as a saxophonist and a vocalist.
Karin
And anyway, I can't let the Cinema Studies Club see me like this after they were kind enough to invite me to do the promotion.
Karin
I have to get better. So, I'd like to practice even more. Will you help me?

Of course. I promised that I'd stay by your side no matter what, right?
