Eli Ep. 20: Beyond the Hardships
After revealing her true feelings to Nico and Maki, Eli realizes that she can't move forward by standing a step behind everyone. She pushes ahead with the live show preparations in order to make sure everyone is in the spotlight.
Eli
Hey, have a look at the new choreography sheet! We've finalized all of our dance moves!
Player
Eli, this choreography is totally different from anything that you've done before!
Eli
It is. I ended up going with something completely different from what I thought up the other day.
Eli
I spoke to Nico and Maki about it and changed it to make all of our unique qualities shine.
Nico
And quite rightly! There's no point if the focus is only on mine and Maki's parts. All three of us make up BiBi, after all.
Maki
You say that, but I feel like the difficulty level of this choreography is pretty high for the both of us.
Nico
Yeah, you're right. Are you sure that this isn't made specifically for you, Eli?
Eli
Oh? You can't do it? But I put together an awesome dance that epitomizes BiBi…
Eli
How about I dance on your behalf then instead? It'll kind of turn into my very own solo live show then, though.
Maki
Say what?! That's a big NO from me!
Nico
That choreography is a piece of cake for me!
Eli
*Giggle* That's the spirit!
Player
I don't know what it is, but you've changed a little, Eli.
Eli
*Giggle* I kind of feel like a weight's been lifted off my shoulders. It was me who took it upon myself to carry that burden on my own, though.
Eli
I'm sure this will be reflected in my performance as well. I feel like I can really relax and face it head-on.
Player
I'm so glad to hear that!
Eli
There's not long left until the live show, so I'm going to go full steam ahead with the preparations.
Eli
I want you to watch me grow and improve until I take to the stage for the live show.
Player
I will! Give it all you've got, Eli!

Maki
Eli, the live show's about to start. Are you ready?
Eli
Yes, I'll be right there. Could you go ahead without me?
Nico
Got it.

Oh, sorry. I was just caught in my thoughts for a minute.
Eli
I've always tended to shift my focus towards protecting those important to me… So I was thinking that I should focus more on moving forward together.
Player

A lot happened during the preparations for this live show. There were times where things didn't go as planned…

But I feel like my time spent in troubled thought helped me with my personal growth and improvement.

This very moment of standing onstage after overcoming those difficulties feels absolutely amazing!

At BiBi live shows, Nico, Maki, and I are all in the spotlight. We're all the stars of the shows.

With us three, I know we can perform a way more impressive live show than ever before. I've made it to today with those thoughts close to my heart.

We can pursue better performances precisely because we're able to believe in each other.
