Dia Ep. 34: To Each Her Own Stage
Each Aqours member is set to perform at a different event. You are worried about Dia, who will be performing solo this time, but Dia herself seems perfectly calm.
Player
How are you doing, Dia?
Dia
No problems here. How are the others doing?
Player
Everyone's doing fine. They're all hard at work trying to make the next live show a success.
Dia
Is that so? That's good… I've been so busy, I haven't had time to check in on them. I was a little concerned.
Player
I was surprised when I heard that all the Aqours members were holding separate events, but I'm sure everyone can handle it.
Player
Are you okay, Dia? Everyone else is in two or three person groups, but you'll be doing a solo performance, right?
Dia
I told you I'm fine, didn't I? Besides, just because it's a solo performance, that doesn't mean I'm doing it alone.
Dia
It's true that I've rarely appeared onstage by myself, and I am rather nervous. But I'll manage. This is going to be a perfectly polished performance!
[Fade in/out.]
Player
It's finally your turn, Dia. You're doing a talking segment after your performance, right? Go for it! I'll be cheering for you from the crowd!
Dia
Thank you very much. I'm going to give it all I've got.

| Player Eli is somewhere in the crowd too. I was surprised when she showed up to support you, but it must be reassuring knowing she's looking out for you. Dia Yes. I feel all the more motivated. I can't afford to fail before someone I admire. |

| Player Eli is somewhere in the audience. I was so surprised when she came through the door backstage, saying she was here to cheer you on! Dia Your shocked reaction was more surprising to me than Eli showing up. That really helped calm my nerves though. |

…Oh, it's almost time. I'd better be going.
Player
Oh, Dia!
Player
You know, the way you always keep everyone organized while chasing perfection to meet their expectations… I think it's really amazing that you can pull it off.
Player
But it's just you today, so cut loose and enjoy yourself!
Dia
…Yes! Here I go. I'm cutting loose!
[Fade in/out.]

(Dia's performance was so moving! Her dancing and singing style was a little different from how she practiced. Was she improvising? Amazing!)
Dia
Thanks for listening to my performance, everyone. Allow me to introduce myself again. I am Dia Kurosawa of Aqours.
Dia
Usually all nine of us perform together, but today I'm doing a solo performance. I hope you'll indulge me.
Dia
I was nervous about appearing onstage all by myself, but thanks to the support of all of you, I was able to perform comfortably.
Dia
And I'm not just talking about today. All of you always offer all of us your support. That's what gives us the unwavering confidence to stand on this stage.
Dia
Aqours will keep on singing our hearts out to repay your support! Thank you so much for coming today, everybody!
