Dia Ep. 26: An Invitation to the Art Museum
Dia invites you to come along to the art museum with her. You both arrive before it opens, so you decide to kill time by having a conversation.

The art museum?
Dia
Yes. I have tickets for the exhibit they are showing right now. Would you like to come with me?
Player
I'd love to! I'm so happy you invited me. Gosh, how long has it been since I've been to that museum? I'm really looking forward to this.
Dia
I'm glad to hear it. Let's decide on a date to go.
Player
Yeah!
[Fade in/out.]
Player
Here we are at the art museum!
Dia
We've arrived before its opening time. Perhaps we left too early this morning.

| Option 2: “No harm in waiting.” |
| Player It'll open in just a few minutes. No harm in waiting. Dia Yes, that's true. In the meantime, I should give you your ticket. |

Do you come here often, Dia?
Dia
I wouldn't say often, but I go whenever I receive tickets, like today, or when they host an exhibit that catches my eye.
Dia
Although, I suppose I do come at other times as well.
Player
Even when you don't have tickets or when there's no special exhibit going on?
Dia
Yes. The museum is quiet, and I find that calming. And just looking at the artwork stimulates my own artistic sensibilities.
Dia
Painting, calligraphy, ceramics, sculpture, photography… Whatever the medium, we're seeing a piece of the artist's soul forged into a work of art.
Dia
It makes me want to use the passion that burns inside of me to create something new.
Player
It's not every day you get so intense, Dia.
Dia
Well, art is a manifestation of the passionate soul of its creator. To view art is to be inspired, and it deepens your cultural understanding, too.
Player
*Giggle* Still studying even now, huh? But I get what you mean. When someone pours their heart and soul into something, it really strikes an emotional chord, doesn't it?
Player
When I can sense that special something I've never felt before, I get so excited, and it makes me feel like I could create art too. I'm sure I'll have the same epiphany today!
Dia
Then I look forward to seeing the results of your inspiration.
Player
I'm sure I'll come up with an awesome idea. You're here with me, after all.
Dia
What do you mean? Are you suggesting that my presence is inspirational?
Player
Going to an art museum together with you makes my heart beat so fast I can barely stand it! I'll have a whole song done in no time at this rate.
Dia
Y-You really can make the most bold statements without any reservation…

What do you mean?
Dia
Nothing at all! Look, it's opening time. Let's go!
