You're chatting on the phone with Dia, but she seems to be wrapped up in her own thoughts. When you ask her what's wrong, she confesses that something has been on her mind.
[On the phone.]

Well, then we ended up deciding to do a competition to see who could bake the tastiest bread.
Dia
Oh, I see…
Player
So, they've apparently been making lots and lots of bread at home, and now everyone smells of butter all the time.
Dia
Mmhmm…
Player
…Dia, are you okay?
Dia
Huh? Yes, I'm fine. You were telling me about buying new pajamas with Ayumu, right?
Player
I mentioned that at the beginning of our conversation… Are you feeling unwell, Dia? Sorry, I didn't mean to keep you up so late just chatting away like this.
Dia
N-No, that's not the case! You haven't done anything wrong. I should be the one to apologize since you were so kind to call me for a chat.
Player
Don't worry about it. I'm glad that you're not feeling sick. So, is there something on your mind then?
Dia
Would you perhaps be willing to hear me out?
Player
Of course. I'm always here if you want to tell me.
Dia

(Something terrible must have happened for it to be weighing on Dia's mind so much like this. Is she worried about a live show? Or did something happen between Aqours?)
Dia
I'm not entirely sure what I should give to Ruby in return.
Player
That sounds difficult. What you should give to—wait, huh?
Player
Wh-What do you mean by “in return”?
Dia
I had my koto recital the other day, and Ruby gave me a congratulatory gift for it.
Dia
The gift was a sash clip. I performed the recital in a kimono, so I am assuming that she chose a kimono accessory precisely for that reason.
Dia
It would appear that she used all her might to think of something that would suit me perfectly. Just imagining her doing that makes me feel so overwhelmed with emotion!

Player

Dia
Yes, I have. I could get her a signed photograph of the school idol that she likes, a new smartphone, a brand-new dress that was only released last week, and then there's—
Player
It's probably a bit of a tall order to get her a new smartphone, though.
Dia
If I don't hurry up and decide, the perfect time to gift it to her will pass me by… What should I choose?
Player
Hmm. I think she'd be happy to receive anything from you, Dia. But I guess that isn't the problem, huh?
