Isn't it pretty? I feel better every time I just look at it. Oh how I'd love to jump into that world and live there. Getting attacked by monsters wouldn't be great, though…

Haha, I guess that's true. People tend to end up wanting to live in a game world at one stage or another.
Chika
The first thing you do in this game is make your own avatar. Are you on the character creation screen?
Player
Oh, right. I'm there now. How should I make them look? I'm not sure…

It does. But you have to clear certain stuff first before you can use it. I've already cleared it, but…

Actually, a monster! Take it down!

Wh-What? Ah, it is a monster! Uhhh, attack, attack… Did it work? Yes!
Chika
That monster drops an item when you defeat it.
Chika
They looked cute so I thought I could just walk straight up to it.
Chika
Well, the monsters are all weaklings in the beginning anyway. They can be taken down with starter equipment.

Chika
Wha?!
Player
I didn't get my attack in fast enough… And just like that it's game over…
Chika
D-Don't worry about it! You only just started playing, it happens. Just give it another shot!
