Guests
Guests can be selected before any Free Live or Story Stage is played. These are cards that other players shared, which you can use as supports for your Formation. You will be able to use their Abilities during the Live, and, if the other player is your friend, their Insights too.
The Attribute and Stats of the Guest do not matter (see Inheriting Skills below), so Guest choice is based on which Abilities and Insights they have instead and how useful they are for the current song or your Formation. For that reason, it is recommended to use filters in the Guest selection to find cards with specific Skills you are looking for.
For the same reason, when setting up your own Guest cards in your Profile, you should use different cards instead of the same card seven times, to allow your friends to find multiple useful Guests. Attributes don't matter, you can put whatever card you want in any slot.
Inheriting Skills
Your Formation uses the Guest card's Abilities and Insights by having your center inherit them. Basically, all of the Guest's Skills will act as if it was the card in the center position of your Formation owned them. That means that any Skills that are based on Attributes, Type or other properties use the one of your center card, not the one of the Guest card.
That means when picking a Guest, you have to consider how the Guest's Abilities and Insights affect your Formation based on your center. For example:
- Any card with Abilities or Insights that target “Same Attribute” will buff the cards with the same Attribute as your center card.
- “Same Strategy” Skills will affect the Strategy your center is assigned to.
- If a Skill's effect is based on a stat like Appeal, the stat of your center card will be used.
The card you put into the center slot can affect how well the Guest's Abilities and Insights support your Formation, so make sure to consider which Guest cards you want to use and which card you can center so you can use their Skills most effectively.
Guest Refresh
Guests are refreshed every four hours. When a Live using a Guest is finished or quit, all Guest cards of that player will be unavailable until the next refresh.
If you want to quit a Live, you can avoid this by quitting the app and logging in again, then retiring from the Live using the resume prompt instead of from in-game. This way, the picked player's Guests will still be available.
Guest Ability Cooldown
Whenever a Guest card's LSALSA: Short for "Live Show Ability". The second Ability of a Card. successfully activates, that Ability cannot proc again until 30 notes have passed.
